Jeevan Pramaan Face App is a downloadable file designed for pensioners to generate a Digital Life Certificate (DLC) without the need for physical submission. Developed by the National Informatics Centre, this free Android application falls under the category of Utilities & Tools.

To utilize the app, pensioners need to have the Aadhaar Face RD service installed, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store as "aadhaarFaceRd". The app utilizes Aadhaar face authentication and requires the pensioner to provide their Aadhaar number, PPO details, and undergo face authentication. Once successfully authenticated by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), a DLC with a unique Pramaan-Id is generated. Additionally, a confirmatory SMS is sent to the pensioner, quoting the Pramaan-Id.

It's important to note that this facility is only available to pensioners whose Pension Sanctioning Authority is onboarded onto JeevanPramaan. With Jeevan Pramaan Face App, pensioners can conveniently generate their DLCs and eliminate the need for submitting hard copies to the Pension Disbursing Office.
